Joslyn Siddiqi

Hello Fourth Grade Families! 

My name is Joslyn Siddiqi. This will be my first year at Discovery Elementary and I could not be more excited about blazing a new trail! This will be my thirteenth year as an educator, teaching grades 3 through 6. Fourth grade has always been my absolute favorite grade to teach, so I am thrilled about the year ahead. I am even more elated to meet my new students and families, build relationships, a strong class community and create memorable experiences that will be long-lasting. My goal is to always create an environment where students can meet their full potential and be themselves. I can not wait to get to know each and everyone of you and start what I know will be the best year ever. I hope you each are excited about getting to know me as well. I am a New York native, born and raised. I graduated from Morgan State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I am married with three incredible children, my family and I have lived in Loudoun County for 8 years. I enjoy traveling with my family, listening to podcasts, music and audiobooks. I also love game shows, a great DIY project and doing mini experiments with my kids at home.
