Mrs. Glenda Osterberg

My name is Glenda Osterberg, and I am thrilled to be joining the third grade team at Discovery! I am so excited to welcome you into our classroom and be your teacher!

A little about me...I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Jefferson County in West Virginia eighteen years ago. My husband Matt and I have four kids...Graham (11), Finley (9), Fletcher (7), and Hattie (5). My youngest is entering kindergarten, so I decided it was time to grow professionally here in Loudoun County.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from George Mason University, and then went on to receive my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been a kindergarten teacher in Jefferson County for sixteen years. I helped open my last school, Driswood Elementary, thirteen years ago. 

In my free time I LOVE to read...my kindle goes with me everywhere! I also enjoy shopping, coffee and Target! My family has an RV and we love spending our spare time, especially in the summer, traveling and exploring new places.

I cannot wait to meet you and kick off an amazing school year!
