Miss Gates

Hello, my name is Rachel Gates! This is my SIXTH year teaching third grade, but my first year as a CROC! I attended elementary, middle and high school in western Loudoun County and I am thrilled to be back to teach. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Longwood University. Two years ago, I set a professional goal: to continue my own education. In December, I graduated from George Mason University with my masters degree in Education Leadership and Administration. 

After school in the fall, I coach cheerleading at Loudoun County High School, GO CAPTAINS! In my free time outside of teaching and coaching, I like to travel, spend time with my family, and be outside! My favorite sports teams are the New York Giants, Yankees, and Washington Capitals. I am looking forward to a successful year full of learning, kindness, growing, and fun!
