Mrs. Welch

Natalie Welch is thrilled to be joining the Culbert family as a 2^nd grade teacher this year.  Mrs. Welch previously taught in LCPS as a third-grade teacher at Legacy Elementary before having kids.  She has also spent time in Africa, China and South America teaching English.  After a period of staying home with her own kids, Mrs. Welch is super excited to return to the classroom!

Mrs. Welch graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.  She also has a master’s degree in Administration and Leadership from Liberty University.  Mrs. Welch believes that every child is unique and has amazing potential to do GREAT things.  She strives to find the gifting that each child has and inspires them to use that gift to make the world a better place.  Setting a strong foundation in education is a great passion of hers and she can assure you that her teaching methods are engaging, diverse and often, ‘out-of-the-box’.

Mrs. Welch is married to Cory Welch and they have three children: Hudson (10), Jonah (8) and Mary Ann (6).  When not in the classroom, you can find Mrs. Welch on a baseball field, hiking, at dance practice, on a date night with Mr. Welch or watching a movie at home with her kids.  She is very involved in the Purcellville community and serves in various outreach programs.  She believes that we are better when working together and can’t wait to partner with your family this year!
