Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This year marks my 3rd year at John W. Tolbert Jr. Elementary School and my first year as a 5th grade teacher. I have been a parent at Tolbert since 2018.  I have two daughters who are in 4th and 6th grade this year.  I was previously a TA here at Tolbert.  I am originally from South Africa where I went to Nelson Mandela University and received my Bachelors in Education and taught 3rd grade until we moved to the US. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks while listening to Podcasts, reading, and visiting new places with my family.
