Hello Potowmack Families,

I am thrilled to be your child's fifth grade teacher and start my first year at Potowmack Elementary School.  This is my 21st year teaching.  I have had a wide range of teaching experience as a classroom teacher and health and physical education teacher.  I have taught grades 2, 3, and 5, and both middle school and elementary physical education. 

After five years teaching in middle school, I am very excited about returning to the elementary level.  I previously taught fifth grade at Horizon Elementary and it is far and away my favorite grade level.  I look forward to working cooperatively with you and your children to help this year be as successful and enjoyable as possible. 

I live in the Cascades with my wife Sarah, son Brennan, and our dog Barkley.  When not in school, I greatly enjoy exercising and living an active lifestyle.  I am a huge sports fan and love Michigan Football. Go Blue!
