• Parent Information Regarding Long-Term Travel

    • Your student will be WITHDRAWN from school on the 15th consecutive day of absence. Weekends, holidays, snow days are NOT included.
    • Please notify Mrs. Darnell of the dates your student will be out of school.
    • Prior to returning to school, your student will need a NEW TB Test.
    • We hope to place your child in the same class but there is NO guarantee of this.
    • No advance work or homework is provided.
    • Per LCPS policy, the 14 days leading up to the withdrawal will be marked as “Unexcused”. Travel is not an excused absence.
    • Transportation will need to be requested again upon re-enrollment. 
    • Chromebook- The Chromebook will not work outside of Loudoun County. If it is lost, stolen, or damaged, you will be responsible for replacing it. Leave it at school if possible.  It will be stored in a secure location and reassigned to your student upon return.
    • Upon return, please contact Mrs. Darnell so she can start the enrollment process.
