Ms. Rochelle Smith

Hello.  After 13 years of teaching elementary school, I decided to jump to high school.  I am the reading specialist who helps with assessing our students and providing extra support where needed.  

I am from West Virginia.  I make the commute daily, and it is gorgeous!  I received my BA in elementary education from Mashall University in Hungtington, WV.  I also received my MA in reading education from MU.

FUN FACT:  I was actually attending MU while WE ARE MARSHALL was being filmed.  I was too busy being nerdy, but several of my friends were "extras" in the movie. I was not.  Regrets. (Ha. Ha.)  I did, however, attend an event where I was super close to Matthew McConaughey. GOOD TIMES!!!   

In my spare time, I love running, reading (of course), working my health and wellness business and traveling with my boyfriend.  

I'm happy to be here, and I love watching my students grow.  Let's go BOLTS!
