Mr. Joshua D. Rauguth

Josh Rauguth is an experienced School Counselor having spent time working in K-12 schools in Virginia, Indiana, and Florida. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, he comes to Lightridge from a private prep school in Naples, Florida. Prior to becoming a School Counselor, he worked as a student-athlete development specialist at an NCAA Division 1 University, as an educational research assistant, nonprofit administrator, and as a high school music teacher.

Additionally, he is a published author within the field of school counseling, most recently publishing within a joint effort between the University of Virginia and Florida State University looking into equitable practices school counselors can use when working with students from different cultures. Mr. Rauguth received his B.A. from George Mason University in Intercultural Communication, his M.A. from Ball State University in School Counseling, and most recently completed additional graduate coursework in counseling at Columbia University.
