Sra. Leiva-Moore 

Ms. Leiva-Moore is in her 34th year in education and 11th year at LCPS. She has taught K-12 and post-secondary Spanish at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, Florida State University and Central Texas College. She served as an assistant principal and principal at Upchurch Elementary School in Hoke County, NC.

Ms. Moore is from Viña del Mar, Chile where she obtained her B.A. in Translation and Interpretation. She also has a M.A. in Intercultural Communication from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and another M.A in School Administration from Fayetteville State University.

In LCPS Ms. Leiva-Moore has served as a WLC Department Chair and WLC curriculum leader and new teacher mentor..  She co-sponsors Spanish National Honor Society.
