Ms. Amy Stark

Hello! My name is Amy Stark (she/her) and I am the school psychologist at Lightridge as well as a member of the Lightridge Unified Mental Health Team. Working with students and helping them to manage their mental health and wellness as well as their learning is the best part of my job. As a school psychologist, I partner with students and their families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments. This is my first year at Lightridge. Previously, I worked for 25 years at Marshall High School as a school psychologist in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). I also worked concurrently for 17 years at Fairhill Elementary in FCPS. 

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, which includes our fur babies (2 dogs and a cat). Our favorite place is sitting on the porch reading and listening to music. I am looking forward to getting to know and working with the Lightridge staff, students, and community.
