Mrs. Moore

Hello! My name is Nicole Moore and I am one of the professional school counselors at Arcola. I conduct classroom guidance lessons, facilitate small group counseling sessions, and work individually with students.  This is my seventeenth year with Loudoun County. Prior to joining the amazing team at Arcola, I was a charter staff member at Cardinal Ridge, and I worked at Liberty, and Buffalo Trail. I was a part of the counseling team at Little River that became the first in Loudoun County to develop a nationally recognized RAMP'ed school counseling program. This year, I am at Arcola on Mondays and I am at Little River Tuesdays-Fridays. My goal is to deliver a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program to the Dragons and the Eagles! This year, I will be primarily supporting students in first grade.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire and my Master's in Counseling from Marymount University. I enjoy visiting New England with my family and spending time with my two children. 

I look forward to assisting students with their academic, career, and social/emotional development. I am excited to be a part of the Dulles South community and advocate for the needs of every child at our school!
