• My name is Aneta Beata Szczechura.  I was born and raised in Poland. I earned my teaching degree from Warsaw University.  Back home, I taught Polish in elementary school and I worked in an orphanage called “Julin”. I moved to the United States in 2006 and attended George Mason University. It was at GMU where I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Special Education - General Curriculum (K-12) and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I have worked with students of all ages, ranging from preschool, all the way through high school. I treasure the experiences I have had with such a variety of students, and believe that I learn as much from them, as they learn from me. In my time outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and running.
