Ms. Rania Amer

Hi! My name is Rania Amer, I grew up in Alexandria, Egypt, and moved to the States in 2015. I started my academic journey.

In 2021, I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work from George Mason University, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people. I have been always passionate about helping those who had special needs and were struggling to navigate the challenges of their personal and academic life.

Driven by my desire to help, I decided to pursue a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky Graduate School. I studied hard and worked tirelessly to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to make a real impact.

After completing my degree, I began working as a Special Education teacher in Loudoun County Public Schools. I have the passion and dedication needed to make a difference in the lives of those students.

As I worked with students, I realized that I wanted to do even more to help them succeed. That's when I decided to pursue a second master's degree in Special Education at JMU. I knew that this would give me the tools I needed to better support my students and help them achieve their goals.

Now, in my third year as a Special Education teacher, I am making a real difference in the lives of my students. I am passionate about helping each and every one of them navigate their unique challenges and achieve success. My dedication has not gone unnoticed, my students and their families appreciate all that I do to support them.

I'm looking forward to another great year at Valley!
