My name is Mrs. Gilbert and I am very excited to be the FUSION teacher at Buffalo Trail! This will be my fifteenth year teaching. I taught third grade at Liberty Elementary in Loudoun County for twelve years and for the last two years I was a librarian at a middle school in Fairfax County. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband is a special education teacher at a middle school in Fairfax County. My daughter Molly is five and my son Carter is almost three. We have a golden retriever named Ellie and a lab/husky mix named Burke. As a family, we love being outside, reading books, and going on trips.
