Ms. Carter

Hi, my name is Anita Carter and I am excited to be a "Shark" and teaching English Learners (EL) at Moorefield Station ES for the 2022-2023 school year.  This will be my 7th year teaching EL as I earned my endorsement through the Cohort program at George Mason University in February, 2017.  

I started my teaching career many years ago as I taught Elementary Physical Education in Fairfax County for eight years prior to having children.   Then, when my youngest was in first grade, I started substitute teaching in Loudoun County and eventually became a Teacher Assistant.  

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three children and  granddaughter, working out, my hobby of photography, and baking!  

I look forward to working with your children for a fun filled and engaging school year!
