Welcome to the English Language Learner (ELL) program! This is my sixth year as a Moorefield Station Shark. I taught in Prince William County for several years before coming home to LCPS. I have a B.A. in English from California State University, Chico and completed my ELL and Secondary English endorsements through Educate VA’s Career Switcher program. Prior to teaching, I enjoyed a career as an editor in the San Francisco Bay area and an editor and writer in Europe.

I was born in Jamaica and grew up in Long Island, New York. I’ve spent almost ten years living in Prague, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Romania with my family. We now love living in, South Riding where our son is a sophomore at Freedom High School.

I have a passion for music, literature, reading, cooking, eating, traveling and discovering new countries and cultures.

I look forward to another fantastic year at Moorefield Station!
