Mrs. Jones

Hi Falcons! My name is Mrs. Jones and this will be my second year at Forest Grove as a School-Based Instructional Facilitator, with a focus on Math! I am eager to get to know everyone and begin my journey here as a Falcon. This will be my 10th year teaching. I previously taught 4th grade for 6 years in Frederick County, Virginia and then moved to a Math Specialist position in Frederick County for 2 years. 

A little about me.. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and later went on to continue my education at George Mason University, earning another Master's in Educational Leadership and a Math Specialist Endorsement.  I love to be outdoors and enjoy kayaking and hiking! My husband and I live in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, so we have a lot of views and space to explore. I have 1 dog, Rex! Who also loves being outdoors and relaxing in the sun.
