Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Liz

My name is Liz Donnini and I grew up in Mechanicsville, Virginia. I went to James Madison University where I received my undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies and my masters in teaching with a focus in special education. I taught in King William for 3 years, where I primarily worked with students with learning disabilities and other health impairments at the elementary and high school level. I have also taught in Stafford for 2 years and Hanover for 1 year with autism programs. I recently relocated to the northern Virginia area with my fiance. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 7th year teaching total, but my first of many years to come in Loudoun County. I am excited to continue my journey with the autism population!

I have two golden retreivers who keep me on my toes when I'm at home. In my spare time I enjoy taking them for walks and I'm an avid for camping and hiking. I enjoy going back to the Richmond area to visit friends and family. I'm looking forward to exploring my new hometown area this upcoming year as I familiarize myself with everything that's around, while continuing to travel to other places as well.

I can't wait to work with you and your child this year to help them along their learning journey. I have a passion for learning and becoming a better teacher. I know that your child will help me grow just as much as I will them. I'm eager about all the opportunities that we will get to experience this school year and know that it's going to be great!
