Banah, Salma (English)

 

Teaching is, for me, a journey both figurative and literal. I was born and raised in Northern California (SF Bay Area), lived in SoCal for nearly 8 years, moved to St. Louis (!) for 3 years, and now ended up here in Northern Virginia! Along the way I've collected quite a few state teaching credentials, and I've loved experiencing the magic of teaching from coast to coast.

 

I also have a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis and a M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas, Arlington. This will be my thirteenth year teaching English.
