"Frau" (Mrs.) Rogers, German 1 and 2

Guten Tag! As Harmony's German teacher, I have the great privilege of guiding young people on an exploration of language and culture. The 2023-24 school year is my seventh year as a world languages teacher. I am originally from northwestern Pennsylvania. I have a Bachelors degree in German and Government from Franklin & Marshall College, and I studied and worked in Germany,  Austria, and Washington, DC. I currently live in Strasburg, Virginia, with my husband Ray and 5th-grade daughter Julia.  I enjoy running and biking local trails and seeing what comes up in my garden. My life has been a series of great adventures, and I am thrilled to be teaching at Harmony Middle School and eager to accompany our students on a new adventure.

Schoology is our online classroom. It is a great place to check and see if your student has any missing assignments, and to see my comments and feedback. (See the Grades tab.) Phoenix (ParentVUE) is the official LCPS gradebook and is the place to access your child’s grades for completed assignments and the marking period.

Please feel free to email me with any comments, questions, or concerns you have about our class and how I can help. Please understand that during the school day, I am actively working with students and may not be able to respond immediately.
