Kim, Alisa-- 5th Grade

Hello 5th Grade! I am so excited to be back at Arcola! This will be my 20th year teaching and my 7th year at Arcola. I can’t wait to meet everyone and start the new school year. I will be working with Mrs. Szady and teaching Math, Science, and Health.

A little about me:
· I grew up in Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park (go Terps) with a major in Elementary Education, minor in Mathematics.
· I worked in Prince George’s County, Fairfax County, and Loudoun County. I taught all grade levels from pre-school to 8th grade.
· I have been married for 25 years and live in Aldie. I have a son who graduated from VaTech, a daughter who is a junior at Baylor U, and a daughter who is a senior at Lightridge HS.
· During my spare time you will see me watching volleyball games at Lightridge, reading, or shopping with my friends.
