Ms. Smith
Hello second graders and families! My name is Sloane Smith, and I am so excited about returning to Moorefield Station for my second year of teaching! I have attended Loudoun County Public Schools from grades K-12. I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science. Then, I went back to school and graduated with my master’s degree in Teaching: Elementary Education from Liberty University.
I strive to make learning accessible to all students. I do so by differentiating my instruction to meet the needs of each student. In my classroom, I promote a positive, exciting, and inclusive learning environment.
In my free time I love to read, bake, spend time with friends/family, frequent coffee shops, and travel!
Second grade was my favorite grade in elementary school. I am looking forward to a great school year and growing together!!
I welcome and value parent involvement throughout the year. I would love to hear from you, and you are welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. You can reach me via email: Sloane.Smith@lcps.org
