Mrs. Sarah Jo

I am excited to work with all TMS students and families this year! The 2023-2024 school year will be my eighth year working as a School Counselor.  Previously I have worked at Lightridge High School, River Bend Middle School, and Manassas Park Elementary School.

I was born and raised in New York before relocating to Virginia to begin my career as a School Counselor.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with son Teddy and husband Alex, and going on long walks with my dog Luna. I also love watching football to root for my Nittany Lions and Buffalo Bills!

As a school counselor, I will support students’ academic, social/emotional, and career development through classroom counseling lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling.  Additionally, as a TMS School Counselor I will assist students as they learn to become their best self, in school, at home, and in their community.
