Ms. Felicia Morrissey

Welcome to 8th grade ELA with Ms. Morrissey! 

This is my second year as a Timberwolf and am looking foward to be a part of your academic journey!

Before joining Trailside Middle School, I did a two-year stint at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Fort Myers, Florida, where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA.

Most of my teaching career was spent in Union City, New Jersey at Union City High School and Jose Marti STEM Academy. There I taught a variety of ELA courses and electives, including AP Literature, College Level Writing, and traditional leveled ELA across all grades.

I also taught 098,101, and 103 Composition Classes at Hudson County Community College and Screenwriting at Rutgers University.

My hobbites include cooking, reading, writing, and hiking in the off-mosquito season.

Most of my children are grown, but our last little one is a Timberwolf, as well. We live in Leesburg with our dogs, birds, fish, and future pets that we dream of nurturing.
