Miss Powner
Hello Stone Bridge Bulldogs! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! Miss Powner is excited to be joining the amazing staff at SBHS to co-teach in Geometry.
Miss Powner previously taught at Legacy Elementary and Discovery Elementary (5th grade) and Belmont Ridge Middle School (7th grade learning support), as well as in Pennsylvania (second grade and fourth/fifth learning support). She was born and raised in Ambridge, PA, which is about 15 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Go Steelers! She received her bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Gannon University in Erie, PA. She also holds a master's degree in elementary reading and math from Walden University and a certificate in administration with a concentration in special education through George Mason University.
In her spare time, she likes to play with her dogs, Mallory and Maggie, workout, bake (then eat) , read, and head to Virginia Beach to visit family.
