Mrs. Snead

Hello students and families! 

My name is Mrs. Snead and I am so excited to be your kindergarten teacher this year! I was born and raised in Ashburn and always dreamed of becoming an elementary school teacher.  I earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education for Diverse Learners from George Mason University. While pursuing my Masters degree, I taught preschool and outdoor kindergarten enrichment at St. David's Episcopal School. This will be my 8th year in public education. I taught first grade for six years and then switched to kindergarten last year! 

I currently live in Leesburg with my husband, our 1 year old daughter named Kayleigh, and our little dog named Captain. When I am not at school, you will find me chasing around my daughter and dog, and spending time with the rest of my family. I am also passionate about skiing, reading mystery novels, cooking, and working out!
