Hello! My name is Ms. Sanders and I'm so excited to be your 4th grade teacher this year! This is my first year teaching 4th grade, however, this will be my third year teaching in all. My first two years, I taught 1st grade in Lynchburg, Virginia, and while I loved 1st, I am beyond excited about beginning my journey in 4th grade! I have my Master's in the Art of Teaching from James Madison University, where I also minored in Spanish.

I currently live in Ashburn with my dog (Chowder) and cat (Guinevere), who are very spoiled! In my free time I enjoy playing my ukelele and reading a good mystery. 

I love making learning fun and believe students learn best when they are happy, excited, loud, and moving around. I strive for my students to have a love for learning so they can grow up to be life-long learners!

I'm looking forward to having a stellar year in fourth grade!
