Ms. Maria Restrepo

Maria began her career in Education in 2019 as a Preschool Teacher Assistant at Altamira International School in Barranquilla, Colombia. During her tenure she quickly develop a passion for working with students with special needs. She then relocated to Algonkian Elementary School were she worked as a Teacher Assistant in Emotional Disability program. Maria holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is currently pursing a Masters of Education in Special Education at George Mason University. In her spare time Maria, enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis, volunteering with church group and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to start her first year as a Teacher at schools. Go Labs!
