The JCHS Model Rocketry Club meets to discuss and build rockets after school on Tuesdays, approximately from 4:20 to 5:30 pm.  There is no formal sign-up to be in the club, although we do ask you to sign in just so we know who is at our meetings.

On-campus launches of rockets with a total impulse of no greater than 5.0 N-s (a single class B or lower motor) take place as needed before the school day starts or during your study hall.  Off-campus launches generally take place with NOVAAR at Great Meadow, and we have access to farmland in Aldie if needed.  As we are an official section, students who wish to launch rockets as part of our group off-campus must join the National Association of Rocketry.
