The Preschool @ The Grove is a partnership between Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) and the neighboring community.  The Program provides community members with the opportunity to enroll their preschool aged children in a preschool that provides academic instruction, supports emotional and social development, and provides opportunities to learn skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten.  The preschool is under the direction of Dr. Karen Curtis.  Dr. Curtis began her career as a teacher in LCPS in 1995.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher (2008, 2018) and earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.  

In addition to Dr. Curtis, the preschool is run by students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program offered at Woodgrove High School.  Students in grades 9-12 work with Dr. Curtis to prepare and present age appropriate lessons to the preschool children.
