2023 Senior Summit

Our Mission

The mission of the Lightning Senior Summit is to provide graduates of Lightridge with a meaningful experience, self-fulfillment, and opportunities for post-secondary success through civic engagement and career exploration.

On April 19-20  and from May 15  to May 26, 2023, qualifying seniors are excused from classes to pursue a community service project or career development opportunity. Students must complete 60 hours at their host site over the seventeen-day Senior Summit experience. 

Community service projects can range from hands-on experience to administrative work.  Career development opportunities can range from internships to job shadowing. Students have discretion in choosing their project as long as it provides an authentic experience.
