  • Athletics

    The High School Athletic Departments believe that a properly managed sports program helps meet students’ need for self-expression, mental alertness and physical growth. Our obligation is to maintain sound programs to further students’ emotional and physical maturity.  Click here for more info.

  • Elementary Education

    The Office of Elementary Education focuses its efforts on developing school-based leadership in the area of instructional improvement. Support is provided to school administrators on creating and monitoring school improvement plans, implementing the new teacher performance evaluation system, and ensuring that quality assessment practices are used to determine student progress.

  • Middle School Education

    The Office of Middle School Education works to promote high academic achievement in a learning environment that provides equal access to all students. The Director of Middle School Education is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of middle school principals and provides the focus for purposeful leadership in implementing the school improvement process throughout the middle schools within our division.

  • High School Education

    The Office of High School Education works collaboratively with the Department of Instruction and High Schools to systemically promote individual achievement and post-secondary readiness.

  • School Administration

    The Office of School Administration builds capacity with principals, assistant principals, and deans by facilitating effective communication, reducing complaints, and supporting a positive learning environment for students, staff, parents, and community.

  • Virtual Loudoun Education

    Virtual Loudoun offers online courses through LCPS VISION using content that is aligned to the Standards of Learning to offer new educational opportunities to students. These courses present educational material and credit courses at the high school level to students using online resources.  For more information click here.

  • Adult Education

    LCPS Adult Education Program provides life-long educational opportunities and support services at low cost to all adults 18 years and older. The Adult Education programs address the unique and evolving needs of individuals and communities by providing adults with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as productive citizens, workers, and family members.
