Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support (PBIS)
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive system approach to help parents and school staff create and maintain a safe, supportive, learning environment, promote positive life skills, and reduce negative behaviors so that all children can succeed in school.
PBIS at Buffalo Trail
We teach students to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn. At the beginning of the year, students are taught lessons and school expectations. These skills are reinforced daily by all staff using positive reinforcements such as praise and tickets. We appreciate your support at home!
