My name is Emily Stevens and love being a Maverick! I am the Dean of Students in 6th Grade here at Smart's Mill Middle School and am beginning my 21st year in Loudoun County Public Schools. I hold a teaching license in K-12 Special Education and elementary education. I earned my Master of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision in 2019 from The George Washington University.

When I'm not at school, you can find me in Leesburg. I have a sixteen-year-old daughter, fourteen-year-old son, twelve-year-old son and our Golden Retriever, George. We love to spend time outdoors hiking, walking, exploring local attractions, reading and cooking.  Some facts about myself are that I have run three marathons, am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and love being active.
