Mr. Aaron C. Smith

Aaron C. Smith is excited to join the Mathematics Department at Stone Bridge High School.  He has  taught Mathematics, Statistics, and other high school subjects since 2000 and tutored all levels of students.   His  previous schools of employment include James Madison High School in Vienna, VA and Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA.  A native Virginian, he attended Arizona State University while obtaining two bachelor degrees in Finance and Economics, Summa Cum Laude.  He then pursued Ph.D graduate studies in Economics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.   HE is a NCTM and ASA member and an approved reader for AP Statistics.   Teaching students the power of mathematical modeling and the beauties of analytical and quantitative thought drive him to be better every day and to always advance.  Outside of teaching math, He has been lovingly married for 18 years and has a daughter and two basset hounds.
