Ms. LaFleur

Hello, my name is Rebecca (Becky) LaFleur.

I am excited to begin my 9th year teaching here at Frederick Douglass Elementary School, and 3rd year as an EL Teacher!  

This is my 11th year teaching for Loudoun County Public Schools. I received my undergraduate degree in Massachusetts and went on to earn a dual master’s degree in New York for Elementary and Special Education. Three years ago, I added an EL endorsement to my teaching license.

I am originally from New York, but my husband and I have lived here in Leesburg for 20 years. We have two sons who both attend(ed) LCPS schools, our oldest is a Tuscarora class of ‘23 Graduate, and our younger son will be a junior this year.

I look forward to meeting you, and getting to know your 5th grader!
