Director of School Counseling
I am thrilled to work with Robey students, families, counselors and educators as the Director of School Counseling. I come to Robey with over 20 years of experience counseling, teaching, researching, and writing for high schools, colleges, a non-profit, and the federal government. I have worked in counseling at SUNY Oswego, American University, George Mason University, the American School Counselor Association, the Virginia School Counselor Association, Lake Braddock Secondary School, Park View High School, and now William Obediah Robey High School. I currently serve as Chair of the Virginia School Counselor Association and adjunct professor at George Mason University.In my free time I love reading, exercising, hiking, and laughing with my friends and family. Our counseling team is here to help Robey students discover their strengths, achieve academic success, and make meaningful contributions to the world. We are thrilled to serve you and look forward to our journey together this year! -

Meet: Schedule a MeetingHello! My name is Tyler Cabatic and I am your school counselor here at Robey. Prior to joining the counseling team at Robey, I was a school counselor at Manassas Park High School in Manassas Park, Virginia.Outside of school, I serve on the board for the Virginia Alliance for School Counseling, a division of the Virginia Counselors Association. In this role, I have the privilege of amplifying the voices of school counselors across the Commonwealth of Virginia.In my spare time, I enjoy hiking national parks, attending concerts, and gathering around a fire with friends and family. Additionally, I have two mischievous cats, Cooper and Cora, who love head scratches and wreaking havoc on my furniture.As your school counselor, I look forward to supporting you in navigating challenges, as well as celebrating in your successes. My door is always open, so please drop by to say hello, get support, or share exciting news. I am looking forward to getting to know you this school year. -

I graduated from Florida International University with a master’s degree in Social Work. Go Golden Panthers! I have fifteen years of experience working with families in clinical social work and case management. My goal is to help our students meet their academic, social, and emotional needs.
As a Miami native, I enjoy spending time outside, fishing, boating, and swimming. I speak fluent Spanish and love to cook Cuban food on the weekends.
I look forward to getting to know you and your families. The counseling team is always available to you, so feel free to come by and see us. I believe that together, we can accomplish anything!

Ms. Imani Hagans

Phone: 571-252-1133Ms. Imani Hagans earned her undergraduate degree and master’s degree from Trinity Washington University. She entered the field working as an active treatment specialist in a day program for adults with intellectual disabilities. Mrs. Hagans then went on to work as a community support worker for a mental health clinic in Washington, DC, before going on to work as an outreach counselor for a safe haven program for adults who are chronically homeless. She then worked for the Fairfax County Community Services Board for 7 years, where she became a Behavioral Health Supervisor for a co-occurring residential drug treatment program. Mrs. Hagans also provided outpatient drug treatment services to adults referred through APRA and CSOSA in Washington, DC. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, she has also provided individual and group counseling services to children, adolescents, families, couples and single adults. Mrs. Hagans is new to Loudoun County Public Schools this year and is very excited to bring her wealth of experience to working with students from a prevention and education perspective.
