Snowden, Lori (Reading)

Mrs. Snowden is the Reading Specialist for Briar Woods High School.  Previously, she taught secondary English, elementary school, and served as a Reading Specialist in Frederick County, Maryland.  She is excited to be part of the English department and the opportunity to increase literacy achievement for all students!

Lori Snowden graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Middle Education with an English minor.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Reading and Educational Leadership Certification from Hood College.  Additionally, Ms. Snowden is a certified Reading Specialist (K-12).
