Mrs. Longest

Mrs. Amanda Longest is thrilled to be a member of the Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary School staff!  This is her fifth year working for the Loudoun County Public School system and 3rd year here at KWC.  Before she joined us here in Loudoun County, Mrs. Longest taught in Texas, New York, and Vermont.  

Mrs. Longest graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, in addition to a Masters in Reading Specialization.  She believes every child deserves a caring and engaging atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, socially, as well as intellectually. Mrs. Amanda Longest is passionate about helping students meet their fullest potential.  She looks forward to inspiring her students and guiding them to becoming productive citizens in our community! 

Outside of school, Mrs. Longest enjoys books, coaching in various sports organizations, exploring new places, and spending time with her family, as well as friends.  Let’s have a great year together because we are Culbert Strong!
