Kelsey Speer

Hi! My name is Kelsey Speer, and I am very excited to be the teacher in the Autism 3-5 class. This is my 6th year teaching in Loudoun County as a self-contained Autism teacher. I just moved right down the road from Pinebrook, and I am very excited for this new adventure. My goal is to educate the WHOLE child. We will not only target academics, but also social skills, life skills, social-emotional learning, work-based skills, and, of course, we will have fun while doing it. My belief is that every child is capable of achieving their goals despite what hurdles they may face. I will always find new ways to adapt our learning to reach every child where they are at. I am so excited for the progress each kiddo will make over this next year. Educating a child is a team effort, and I look forward to working together with each family to help their child reach their maximum potential!

Outside of school, I love to be outside!! I enjoy hiking, kayaking, exploring areas in Virginia, and traveling! I love to read and cook when I have downtime and spend time with my friends and family.
