Kelsey Speer

Hi! My name is Kelsey Speer, and I am very excited to be the new teacher in the Autism 3-5 class. This is my 5th year teaching in Loudoun County as a self-contained Autism teacher. I just moved right down the road from Pinebrook, and I am very excited for this new adventure. My goal is to educate the WHOLE child for each of the students in my classroom. We will not only target academics, but also social skills, life skills, social-emotional learning, work-based skills, and of course we will have fun while doing it. My belief is that every child is capable no matter what needs they may have, and I will find new ways to adapt our learning to reach every child where they are at. I am so excited for the progress each kiddo will make over this next year. Educating a child is a team effort, and I look forward to working together with each family to help their child reach their maximum potential!

Outside of school, I love to be outside!! I enjoy hiking, kayaking, exploring areas in Virginia, and traveling! I love to read and cook when I have downtime and spend time with my friends and family.
