Mrs. Chan is excited  to be an EL (English Learner) Teacher at Potowmack Elementary!  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is endorsed to teach English as a Second Language  PreK - 12. Prior to coming to PMK, she worked as a Teacher Assistant at another LCPS elementary school.  

Before deciding to become a teacher, Mrs. Chan worked for many years in the real estate development industry. 

She is married and has 3 children that are in college, high school and middle school.  She loves reading, taking walks, discovering new places to eat, and spending time outdoors with her family.
