Ben Burton

In his seventh year as an LCPS EL teacher, Ben Burton will be “bridging the ridges,” splitting time between Rock Ridge High School (on A days) and Lightridge High School (on B days).  

Mr. Burton grew up in Arlington County and graduated from Yorktown High School. He was a member of the wrestling team at Ricks College (now Brigham Young University – Idaho), where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Spanish.  He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from George Mason University, and his teacher training through EducateVA. He is on the cusp of completing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of William & Mary.

Two of his four kids attend colleges in Utah (home of the world’s best hiking trails), while the younger two attend Stone Bridge High School, where he also serves as a JV Wrestling Coach.
