A native of Northern Virginia, I grew up in Arlington and attended Bishop O'Connell High School. I completed my undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Virginia.  Wahoowa! From there I taught English in Colorado and Florida before returning home to teach at Broad Run High School.  I took some time away from the classroom to raise my three children, two of which are still attending high school in Loudoun County, and I am thrilled to return to teaching at Freedom.
