Welcome to First Grade! My name is Amanda Payne and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I am originally from Leesburg, VA and graduated from Penn State University with my Bachelor's of Science in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education in 2015. This is my 7th year teaching in Loudoun County, and have spent the majority of my time in First Grade with one year in Kindergarten as well. I'm so excited for another year of First Grade at Countryside! In my free time, I love to stay active, read, cook, & spend time with my family, friends, and my dog, Leo! I love learning and am pursuing a Master's Degree in Reading with George Mason University. I'm looking forward to making this a great year!
