This is my first year at Trailside, but my eleventh year teaching. Teaching is my second career, as I spent twenty-six years in the Navy, retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer.

I have a B.A. in US History from the University of Virginia, a M.Ed (Special Education), and a MBA from Regent University. 

I am a huge sports fan, especially of my hometown Pittsburgh teams, along with my alma mater, the University of Virgina.       

I have one child, a son, who is entering his final year at Liberty Law school.
