Degrees and Certifications:

B.A. in Biology M.Ed. in Secondary Instruction

Ms. Morgan Palombi

Hello everyone!

I am overjoyed to be back here at Trailside Middle School teaching 8th Grade Physical Science. Prior to transitioning to Loudoun County, I taught science in Winchester. However, my journey to the classroom was not a traditional path. After obtaining a Bachelors in Biology from Kent State University, I made the choice to continue my education. I have always loved being a part of a school community, which led me to obtaining a Masters in Secondary Instruction from Edinboro University.

Being an educator is one of the true joys in my life. I love being in the classroom where I can learn and grow alongside my students. Science is super exciting and captivating, allowing you to gain knowledge of how the world around us works! Being a scientist means finding the answers to perplexing questions, solving solutions for our communities, collaborating with others, creating devices to better our lives, and much more. Throughout the school year, I hope to engage and challenge students allowing them to see the range of beauty in the sciences. When I am not in my classroom, you can find me listening to podcasts, dancing to my favorite music, hiking through the mountains, or playing trivia (I'm only good at science questions).

My main goal this year is to cultivate a safe learning environment where all of my students flourish into the best versions of themselves. I am truly looking forward to this school year, and I am excited to work with such an amazing group of teachers.
