Welcome to Math!

After teaching middle school math for 9 years in Fairfax County, I am excited to join Smart’s Mill Middle School! I will be teaching Math 6 and MEED (Math Lab).

I am originally from Montgomery County, MD, but I now live outside Leesburg with my husband and three children. I earned my undergraduate degree in Math Education from Penn State University and my graduate degree in STEAM from Clemson University. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, hiking (or anything outdoors), going to the gym, cooking/eating, and reading.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students and sharing my passion for math!
