Hi, my name is Heather Cullinane. I am very excited to be joining Emerick Elementary School and the community for the 2021-2022 school year. I grew up in Hillsboro, VA and attended Loudoun County Public Schools. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Shepherd College and later earned my Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy. In 2003 I began my teaching career in Loudoun County, where I taught fifth grade for four years. In 2007 I moved to Maryland and began teaching in Howard County and have been at Clarksville Elementary for the last fifteen years. I have taught first, second and fifth grades and am looking forward to teaching third grade this upcoming year! I am looking forward to a new school year and to getting to know each of you!
