Jennifer Feldhaus - 7th grade Dean

I am so excited to join the Sterling Middle School team this year as the new 7th grade Dean! 

I grew up in Stafford, Virginia and started my teaching career abroad in Rwanda by teaching for ten years at the International School of Kigali, Rwanda. Upon returning to Virginia, I most recently taught at Sugarland Elementary in Sterling. Along with experience as an elementary classroom teacher, I have also worked as a K-12 teacher-librarian and an AP Research teacher for high school seniors. 

I have taken on various leadership roles throughout my career, contributing to the leadership team as the elementary coordinator and elementary principal at the International School of Kigali-Rwanda and was part of the leadership team at Sugarland Elementary. I am passionate about diversity in schools through celebration of language, culture, and background, and I enjoy sharing ideas about technology integration in education. 

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. We love to travel and explore new places locally and abroad. 

I look forward to engaging with members of the Sterling Middle School community as we work together toward our shared goals.
